Volunteer alone, with a friend, with a work or church group, we are a fun, friendly group and we would love to have you! On a client move-in day, you will work hard, have fun, and meet other people that are interested in transforming the lives of others!

Move-in Day-
Get ready to sweat! After we announce a move-in date on our website or our Facebook page, we will send you instructions on the logistics of the day.

We will meet at the storage facility to load up the moving truck with our reclaimed furniture and household items and caravan with all of the volunteers to the clients new home.

Upon arriving, we will bring all of our furniture and household items into the clients apartment…that is when the fun begins! Get ready to be creative! We will spend the next few hours stocking cabinets and drawers, placing furniture, hanging curtains, mirrors and artwork, putting together beds and setting tables. We will then leave our client with their newly transformed space.

We truly take any goods that will help turn a house into a home. Some examples of items include but are not limited to:


Organize a school or neighborhood drive to collect gently used/good condition bedding, lamps, artwork, books and even small furniture items. The following lists are possible drive ideas! To set up a drive or for more information contact us.


Backpacks, pencils, notebooks, markers, folders, crayons, and paper.


Let kids pick things from their own bedrooms or collections to donate to children in need.


Markers, crayons, paint and brushes, coloring books, scissors, tape, paper, and pencils.


Shower curtains and liners, curtain rings, bath towels, garbage cans, toilet paper, plungers, and toilet brushes.


Mop bucket, Clorox wipes, Windex,Comet, paper towel, and rubber gloves.


Sheet sets, pillow cases, shams, comforters, pillows, throw blankets and pillows in sizes twin, full, and queen.
